The Travellers Rest - Chorley

This was our first time visiting, as we are relocating to the area. I have to say, the food was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They did have a problem with the cellar due to the weather, but I can't hold that against them—it’s just one of those things! In fact, it gives us another reason to return (which we were already planning to do after enjoying such a delightful dinner) to sample some of the local draft ales. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.

Nice and cosy atmosphere, staff was great. Sad to say that the food left us wishing for more. I had the noodles which were quite bland, and was not impressed with the ingredients quality or taste. However my parents steak was lovely, well cooked and nicely presented. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Excellent service and great food, the staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble, very dog friendly with a special menu for them, there meals are free with adult meals, well worth a visit you won’t be disappointed. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
