We went to the golden beach hotel bar for an aperitif. Well made cocktails. Friendly and helpful service. Excellent prices. 14€ for a huge gin and tonic! Nearby activities: Sup and similar Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Kid-friendly

I can only rate the restaurant service on the terrace next to the beach, very correct options and good service, recommended Service: 5 Location: 5

The pros: The wait staff and bartenders were all very friendly and helpful. They were honestly the highlight of the stay there. The location was also a pro, just steps from the beach and the hotel provided complimentary lounge chairs (in the event that you get there early enough to snag one). The cons: The management was incredibly cold and unwilling to help with any problems that arose during our stay. My wife and I were staying on our honeymoon and we unfortunately received the news of a family members death, and decided it would be best to return home. The management decided to not compensate us in any way, with no room for negotiation. No refund, no partial refund, no return credit. This was incredibly disheartening as we spent over 3000 euros to stay at this location. The room was also incredibly lackluster for the price we paid. We were placed in room 306, which was the farthest room from the beach. This room provided no view of the ocean, was full of mosquitos and flies upon arrival and the kitchenette was woefully under stocked. We could hardly make a Greek salad with the utensils provided. The room was meant for 6 guests, but barely had enough towels and toiletries to sustain my wife and I. I am incredibly upset with the lack of understanding from the management, the unwillingness to negotiate, and the absence of any empathy towards our situation. I would go elsewhere for your honeymoon. Shoutout to Andres, Sofia and Giannis for being the bright spots of our stay here. Rooms: Lackluster Walkability: Nothing around to walk to, you’d need a car or atv Food drinks: Sub-par and expensive Noteworthy details: Incredibly underutilized rooms, and rare to get service quickly while in a pool chair. Must flag down servers like you are on an island.
