This restaurant review is filled with praise! Make sure to come hungry and ready to eat because there is a wide variety of delicious food available. Trying out a new restaurant for the first time can be nerve-wracking, especially a buffet where you may end up paying a lot for not a lot of food. However, our experience at Hikari started off on a positive note with friendly and attentive waitstaff who explained how everything worked. The buffet offered a mix of simple sushi and fried chicken on the traditional self-serve line, as well as an a la carte option where guests could order two rounds of dishes during their 90-minute dining time. The food was of high quality and cooked fresh, impressing us greatly. It was a bit challenging to remember all the Japanese dish names on the menu, but standout dishes included the teriyaki chicken and the Japanese pizza. The udon noodles were a hit with the children and adults alike, leaving plenty of room for other dishes. The sashimi was fresh and delicious, and the wasabi provided a nice cleansing kick. The all-you-can-eat policy was straightforward, with any wasted food being charged at ala carte prices. We finished off the meal with some ice cream, wishing we had ordered more. Overall, we had a fantastic dinner and felt that we got great value for our money. We look forward to returning to this bright, cheerful, and tasty Japanese restaurant and highly recommend it!

When we arrived at the table at 4 o'clock, we were promptly served a sushi boat. The restaurant also had a sushi bar where we could snack while waiting for our hot meals. The all-you-can-eat option for $38 was well worth it for the high quality of the food. We can't wait to come back, even if it means paying full price.

Nice nigiris and rice balls. Good price too $1.80 per piece. The rolled sushi is way too big and super rice heavy.
