Old Street Asian Hawker Food

"Kopitiam" exceeded my expectations. I want to highlight how clean the dining area is. I tried the watanhor, and it was fantastic. I enjoyed it with their complimentary chili, which had a great blend of garlic and ginger vinegar, adding an extra kick to the flat noodle dish. It’s definitely deserving of a straightforward 5-star rating, especially considering the generous portion for just $15.50. Please note that they only accept eftpos or cash. If the eftpos machine is down, bank transfer is an option, so tourists should be aware that credit and debit card payments via paywave are not accepted.

Cozy restaurant with a compact space and kitchen, so keep your expectations in check. It offers good value, quick service, and authentic Malaysian cuisine. We particularly enjoyed the nasi lemak, hokkien mee, char kway teow, and char bee hoon.

A unique traditional meal of street food. Is worth the visit if you craving for asian foods or just a big meal. The portion are generous and the the interior are plaster with Penang street are wallpaper. It is self service and cash only. Closed on Monday. Open during lunch and dinner, shop closed in between.
