Pescatore - Christchurch

Great service, friendly staff, awesome food. So many little extras included in the meal! And they were really good about my pregnancy they brought out a seafood appetiser that I couldn't eat so they took it away and appeared a minute later with an alternate appetiser. The wait staff knew the food they were serving really well and explained everything thoroughly and everything was cooked to near perfection.

We had the 7 course degustation meal and it was wonderful. Great staff, very knowledgeable about the food and wine especially the maitre d, Angela. Will definitely go back!

This was a fantastic experience. I can not rate it high enough. When you get there you might be a bit suspicious with it being in a strip mall but put this down to the Christchurch earthquakes. The front of house looks like nice pub/restaurant but the really fantastic part is when they took us to the restaurant out the back. We had the 9-course degustation and it was brilliant. All the food was delicious with out being over powering or confusing. The service was very attentive while being gentle and friendly. Go here!!
