Piccolo Italiano - Christchurch

Our group of six adults had an outstanding experience with exceptional service and delicious food, building on the great time that two of us had the previous week. We began with some delicious hot bread, and then three of us ordered the special salmon dish, while two opted for different gnocchi dishes and one person chose a pizza. It was lovely to bring our own wines for just a corkage fee. We ended up spending about $40 per person. We can't wait to return!

We decided to share several entrée-sized dishes: garlic pizza, ravioli, green lip mussels, and spaghetti meatballs. They were all perfect for us to taste and enjoy together. I especially recommend the ravioli; the flavors were fantastic, and the meatballs also had a lovely taste. For dessert, we had a classic ice cream sundae, which was a delightful addition to the menu and a nice touch of nostalgia. Overall, it was a wonderful meal, and I can't wait to return!

I recently visited this restaurant with a group of 8, and we had an amazing experience! The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and we really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. Our waitress was pleasant, which made the evening even more enjoyable. It's a BYO place, too! I will definitely be returning and have been happily spreading the word to others.

Visited this restaurant last night for my birthday with my wife. We've been here probably about half a dozen times in the last six months and really like it. It's small, unpretentious and excellent value. <br/ <br/ The service is prompt and the menu varied.<br/ <br/ I'm sometimes disappointed with Italian restaurants as I often think I could have cooked a better dish myself. This is never the case with Il Piccolo. <br/ <br/ Excellent value, tasty and well presented food and good service.
