Pizza Hut Church Corner - Christchurch

I was really disappointed with my pizza. Instead of making a fresh one, they just combined leftover pieces from other pizzas, thinking I wouldn’t notice. The way it was cut was completely uneven, and the pieces didn’t even fit together properly. I didn’t realize this until I got home; otherwise, I definitely wouldn’t have accepted it. It was so bad that I'd give it a zero if I could, but since that’s not an option, I have to give it a one.

This may be the worst Pizza Hut location in Christchurch. The quality of the food is inconsistent, ranging from mediocre to downright terrible. Last week, I ordered delivery from my workplace, which is only a two-minute drive away, and it was an absolute disaster. They tried to compensate me for a delivery that took two attempts and hours to arrive. The food was cold, and the garlic bread was undercooked and raw in the middle. All they had to do was put it through the conveyor belt oven, place it in a heated bag, and drive a short distance. It was lunchtime, so there was no busy rush at the time. The second delivery took over an hour to cover just about 500 meters.

The pizza was quite average; there wasn't much topping, mostly just crust. The onion rings were overcooked as well.

Often the pizzas are a bit greasy, but that's to be expected from most pizza huts to be fair. They have the option of replacing regular cheese with vegan cheese for an extra $3 which isn't cheap but at least you know the option is there I suppose. Sometimes I get the hot and spicy vege pizza with vegan cheese instead of dairy. Still tastes pretty decent! I get something from here every few months on average.

I haven't had pizza hut for over 10 years, but a few weeks ago I tried again and was blown away! All the staff there are so friendly and go above and beyond for me and my partner every time. They recognise and greet us every time.The wait isn't long, even when busy, and staff are always super helpful. Amazing pillar for the community, and will always be coming back here. :D It seems like a lot of reviews are to complain, but they really deserve more praise. They work really hard. Please give them all a raise, they deserve it.
