The Cup Christchurch

This is a lovely little spot! While the menu is quite standard, the breathtaking views more than make up for it. I tried the mushrooms, which were flavorful but could have benefited from a bit more sauce, as there wasn't much. My boyfriend ordered the burger and fries, which he really enjoyed—though he tends to like everything! The only downsides were the typical menu and the limited sauce with the mushrooms. Everything else was delightful!

I don’t often write reviews, but I just had to share how amazing my experience was! We went for lunch on the weekend and, despite the busy atmosphere, we managed to get a nice table outside on a hot day. I ordered a flat white and a Japanese chicken salad, while my partner got an iced coffee and the big breakfast. The Japanese salad was absolutely delicious – it was incredibly fresh and the dressing was so good that you should really consider bottling it! My partner enjoyed the big breakfast as well, especially the rye bread. We can’t wait to return, possibly for dinner next time!

I really enjoy the food at this restaurant! The ingredients are fresh, and everything is cooked to perfection. It made for a wonderful dining experience! The view of Christchurch is outstanding as well. My parents also had a great time enjoying their meal there.

The nighttime view is absolutely breathtaking. It's a lovely pub, and I enjoyed a decent mulled wine. However, the standout feature was undoubtedly the outstanding customer service from the staff. I'm so pleased to have found this hidden gem!

The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was incredible, with breathtaking views of the city. I gave the service a rating of 4 because there was a noticeable wait for my table to be cleared after the previous guests, as well as for the food to arrive. However, the wait was definitely worth it. It's a haven for those with gluten sensitivities, as they provide freshly baked gluten-free bread and an excellent selection of gluten-free dishes.
