I highly recommend trying their Chaat, Paratha Combo, Kulcha Combo, or Starters. Over two days, my partner and I sampled a variety of dishes including Bread Pakora, Samosa Chaat, Chole Bhature, Mixed Veg Kulcha with Chole, Masala Uttapam, Brown Chum Chum, Kaju Burfi, and Milk Mysore Pak. Everything was delicious and incredibly budget-friendly. I am excited to return and pleased to see they also have a location in Hastings. The interior is modern, sleek, and comfortable.
I discovered this restaurant on a cold, wet public holiday and it was a pleasant surprise. The service was excellent and the food was really delicious. We were too full to try the desserts, but they looked amazing. There is plenty of seating and the atmosphere is casual. It's easy to find and there is ample parking in the area. Great spot for a meal out.
We had a great experience at this restaurant. We tried popular Indian sweets like Roshogolla (Rasgulla), Kalojam (Gulabjamun), and Dahi-puri (Doi Fuchka), as well as Chole Bhaturey. The taste of all the dishes was excellent and authentic. The sweets had a real Indian flavor without being overwhelmed by Kewra Rose water. The Dahi-puri was served with a variety of sides, offering a range of flavors. However, the management was not very attentive to customers and the service was a little unprofessional - our dishes were served without napkins. Despite this, the food prices were reasonable, making it a good place to try Indian cuisine without breaking the bank. The location in central Christchurch is convenient, but parking may be a bit of a challenge. Overall, our experience was positive and we plan to visit again, especially for the Indian sweets. Thank you.
Love coming to this place for a real authentic taste of indian street food and sweets. The service is always quick and courteous. Our server, a young smilng girl, was outstanding. We loved everything we tried. The tea was flavorsome, hot and milky. Samosas, bread pakoras and chana masala eere all outstanding. The textures and the spice level in all the dishes were just perfect. The chutneys complimented the dishes well too. Strongly recommended if you want a flavorsome treat in a casual atmosphere.
Dry nice restaurant with many vegetarian options, perfect for vegetarian people and also they got really good sweets which are fresh. I liked the pani puri most, it was spicy though tasted nice( don’t order if you can’t handle spice, must try if love spicy).
