Christchurch Casino

Meals ok. Used to be really good once. But still not bad.

We have everything you need, but we don’t accept credit cards. Remember to bring cash.

Probably only go to the Christchurch Casino once a year now and each time notice the standard of dress getting worse. Track pants, jandals, shorts and t-shirts all seem to be ok. Ordered a Caesar salad paid an extra $7 to add smoked chicken. Horrible boring meal with a miserable amount of chicken. Won’t bother eating there again. I did however find the the staff friendly and helpful.

The food here is actually quite good. I like their burgers!

This is a pretty good casino. The staff arer friendly, its tidy and the crowd apart from Friday and Saturday nights is generally high brow (The two nights mentioned attract the young jack the lad types). Machines are not as tight and good service with working beverage machines, easy layout, and friendly vibes. Also, the staff speak English well, and it's not 90% Asian and Islander like Skycity in Auckland. That casino could learn a LOT from this place. A couple of gripes, dress code is low, and I see people in Trackpants, jeans, and t-shirts in there and occasionally a really street type person in there (I have only been twice).
