I went to the store to take advantage of the buy one get one free promotion that was advertised on the shop window. When I tried to place my order, they refused to honor the advertisement. I contacted head office for assistance, but they were not helpful. I recommend staying away from Domino's and finding another place to eat. I am a regular customer, and this experience has made me reconsider going back.
I was skeptical after reading the reviews, but my experience was 5/5. The food was ready on time, hot, perfectly presented, and delicious. I also received a warm greeting. Don't let the previous reviews deter you from trying this restaurant.
After much hesitation but really craving a pizza for dinner I thought I’d give this domino’s one last chance, but alas once again I’ve been left disappointed. The double decadence wasn’t very decadent, just two dry thin bases roughly smooshed together with no sauce in between, and I mean seriously dry! I don’t know if there is a minimum amount of sauce they are supposed to put in between the bases but it seems they couldn’t even be bothered. The chicken sides were cold/ borderline undercooked. And to top it all off the one usual saving grace being the cookies… were raw. I like cookie dough but this slodgey mess in a box was not appetising at all. The delivery was relatively quick while it usually takes them longer but that’s largely irrelevant when the food was not up to any kind of standard. You’d honestly expect for how expensive the food is for it to be damn near perfect everytime but it hasn’t been for every order I’ve made over the past few years. I suppose I’m the fool for repeating the same mistake time and time again. But enough is enough I shall no longer waste my money here, shame really.
I have experienced multiple instances where my food was allegedly being delivered, but never actually arrived until 40 minutes later. Tonight, I placed an order at 7:20 PM, it was supposedly out for delivery at 8:00 PM, but by 8:45 PM there was still no sign of it. When I called the restaurant, I was informed that the driver was stuck in traffic (despite there being no traffic, as confirmed by Google Maps and considering the current pandemic situation). By 9:15 PM, my order still hadn't arrived, so I called again only to be told that not only was my order not out for delivery, but it hadn't even been made yet. They offered me a free pizza on my next order as compensation, but at this point, I remember why I stopped ordering from them in the first place. Lesson learned.
I placed my order on the app at 6:20pm, to be delivered ‘ASAP’. I then later received a notification at about 7:45 to say my order had been delivered. It had not. I phoned the branch to enquire as to where it was (had to phone 3 times before being put through) and was told the driver had left with my order about 20 25 minutes ago so should be with me soon the drive from the branch to my address is 7 minutes, according to Google Maps. It got to 8:20 2 hours after having placed my order initially so I phoned them again, this time getting through on my 4th attempt. I was told to rest assured that my order would be with me soon and that the delay was likely due to the driver having other ‘timed orders’ to deliver before mine (I was told on the app that I was not able to pre order for a set time so I don’t know what was meant by this). There was no further information given as to how much longer I would have to wait for my order. I was given the number for the refund hotline, however when I called, I was told that their lines were closed until Monday. My order eventually arrived at 8:55 2 hours and 35 minutes after I placed it, and was cold so we had to reheat our food in the oven at home before we could eat it. I appreciate it is a Saturday night, however this wait time is unacceptable and appalling. I will be phoning the refund hotline and lodging a complaint as soon as I can.
