Masala Bay - Christchurch

We had a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner here yesterday. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the occasion, and as a lovely surprise, they gave us a complimentary heart-shaped photo frame at the end of our meal. The food was fantastic, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Although we didn't realize it was a BYOB establishment, the waiter graciously arranged for some drinks to be delivered and served them to us as if they were from the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this place 100%!

One of the best Indian meals I've ever had! The delivery was quick, and the food was excellent. It wasn't greasy at all; everything was perfectly seasoned and flavored, with high-quality meat. This is now my go-to for Indian food!

Excellent experience! Since they don't have an alcohol license, the focus is solely on the food, and it truly exceeded my expectations. I also tried the large Indian tea, which I usually wouldn't order at an Indian restaurant, and it was fantastic!

I love the place and they can bring their own wein that makes it much cheaper. very romantic, clean and tasty.

Easily one of the best Indian restaurants around. The food quality is spot on every time. Be prepared for a loud atmosphere if you’re dining in.
