Silver Ripple - Christchurch

Ordered for the first time from here via Just eat . Paid £1.50 for delivery 60p for a service charge. Meal delivered by nice cheerful young lady however spring rolls were full of bean sprouts and nothing else Aldis are better. Sweet and Sour chicken hong kong style and the chowmein were in very shallow conditioners Rice was in proper size box Wouldnt order from again very poor value.

Not impressed -in fact totally disgusted! I found a black earring in my curry which left me with a chipped tooth and a very metallic taste in my mouth , it made me feel very nauseous and the thought that the earring had been in somebody’s body part! not to mention the rest or my family were put off their food as well. when I phoned the takeaway up they offered to replace or give me back the cost of my curry dish ,they didn’t even apologise .Now the fact that I’m feeling rather nauseous obviously i didn’t want it replaced. I will never order from there again . I’m pretty sure there are many food hygiene rules broken of which I will find out soon, especially with the current COVID pandemic.

Silver ripple never fail to deliver good quality tasty food. The food is always delivered hot. We have tried chow mein, hong king style sweet and sour, crispy beef, and Mixed vegetables with garlic sauce.

Don’t bother if you are used to Chinese food that actually has any flavour. Really disappointing all round. I can’t understand the reviews where people are saying anything different. Save your money, HONESTLY Tesco microwave meals are far better. It’s embarrassing.

The food Didnt even turn up for delivery, when we called 2 hours after ordering they said they are too busy and put the phone down on us. I called back and they told me they are too busy and we have to phone Just-eat ourselves to get a refund as they wont sort it, but still no apology! Discusting service and manners, really disappointed. Would strongly advise to avoid, there is plenty of other chinese options in Christchurch with better service.
