The food at the restaurant was delicious and served promptly. However, the staff was unfriendly and did not allow us to check our order before leaving. When we got home, we realized that some items were missing. We called to explain our situation and requested to replace the missing items at a different time because we lived across town. Unfortunately, the person on the phone insisted on charging us again.
First of all, let's clarify that restaurant taxes are not the fault of Ruby restaurant, but rather a government issue. If you are unhappy with the taxes, vote for different leaders who will reduce them. As for Tina, the cold food may have been her own fault for not handling it properly. There may be a language barrier, but using a translation app can easily address this. Despite any issues, my husband and I are regular customers who enjoy the good Chinese food at this restaurant, which we believe is the best option in the area.
I ordered takeout from this restaurant and drove there to pick it up. The guy working there was rude and unresponsive. When I got home, I realized they had given us less food than we had paid for. My wife called them to complain, so I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant. The guy there tried to make me pay for the missing food and was again rude, without even apologizing. The food itself was terrible - the General Tso's chicken was like chewing gum, and the egg rolls were worse than Walmart's frozen ones. I will never eat here again and do not recommend wasting your money here.
Food was horrible, presentation was nonexistent. We eat a lot of Asian food, and a lot of all you can eat style food. This place was terrible.
