Flavorless and poor seafood quality that day. Expected a higher grade with these prices. Catfish Po Boy was better than the combos. But the roll was stale. Dining room was cramped and noisy the evening when we went. The building could use some renovations and deep cleaning. Our bill for three adults was $70 after tip. It was not worth that.
The food isn't that great. Burgers and fries taste fishy when they are busy. Wouldn't eat here unless someone else was paying for it.
I got takeout. The food was good. Don't get the full blown **** Mary as it costs over ten dollars.
Great meal! Grits were perfect. The fried mushrooms were amazing. Loved the Floyd County purple drink. Excellent service.
While travelling south, my husband was looking on the internet for someplace to have lunch on our way in close proximity to I-81 and settled on this one. It was a great choice and was literally just off 81. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The food was wonderful. My husband had the frog legs, I had the Rebel Burger, which was topped with pulled pork, cheddar, onion ring and had a sweet brown sauce. Their hush puppies were crunchy on the outside, and tender in. Their sweet potato casserole was unusually delicious. The restaurant had decor that gave it a very homely soul atmosphere, and their prices were reasonable. We only give a rating of 5 to top notch restaurants, and considering this is not a fine dining restaurant, we gave it a four. We will definitely return if we go through this area again.
