The fried squid legs arrived first and were decent, although the portions were quite small. Then came the ramen and champon. My partner ordered the ramen and found it wasn't spicy at all; in fact, the pork broth had an unpleasant flavor. I tasted it myself and agreed that there was an overwhelming pork taste that was not enjoyable—I had never experienced such an off flavor in spicy pork broth ramen before. When I asked the waitress if we could remove the ramen from our bill, she outright refused, providing excuses that it was only meant to be mildly spicy (though it had no spice whatsoever). Even after I indicated that I would order another champon because I liked it, she was unhelpful. The two rolls came after the ramen and champon, and the size was laughable—finger-sized rolls, six pieces for $15 each. I wouldn't recommend ordering from the chef's special menu, which was poorly presented on an A4 sheet. Finally, the black hog sausage appeared last, despite being an appetizer. All of this brought our total to $92, including some taxes and green tea macaroni ice cream. Though I felt compelled not to leave a tip, I ultimately left a 15% tip, feeling very dissatisfied. I was taken aback by the waitress's refusal to adjust the bill and her cold demeanor made me feel as if I wasn’t being fair. Based on this experience, I won’t be returning. I urge the restaurant to improve its customer service and the portion sizes of its menu items. While I read that they have a loyal clientele, it's unlikely that they'll attract new customers with such practices.

The food is amazing, and the service is exceptional. Be sure to try the Spicy Champon, Bento Boxes, and Specialty Rolls!

Ramen is always a great option on the menu, along with other dishes. I tried the chicken wings, but they weren't really to my taste. However, I always have a wonderful time at Kanpai.

I love this place so much. The servers are super nice. Food was good. We got our food pretty fast. Will come here again!

They have authentic Japanese food. The ramen dishes are very good. I attached the hours of operation.
