Pho Hung Cali 2 - Chula Vista

Food was great but can’t say the same thing about their customer service. The guy that takes your orders is rude and very unwelcoming. Sadly don’t think I would be coming back.

This place should be shut down immediately. I do not recommend anyone eat here, EVER! I ordered a $20 meal through ubereats thinking I ordered from the pho hung cali on broadway Chula Vista (definitely recommend) I got there and some man was smoking a cigarette in front of the building right as you walk in. I had to walk through it to enter and when I look for someone to pick up my order he starts going through all the bags with his dirty cigarette unwashed unsanitary hands. He started opening the containers and I was grossed out I spoke up and said it was unsanitary and he got mad started yelling obscenities proceeded to call me an a e over me expecting a somewhat clean meal for $20. Never in my life have I been so disrespected when someone else was clearly in the wrong. Will contact health department. No one should ever eat here, it was completely dead too now I understand why.

The food was absolutely delicious! I'm already considering a return visit because everything was so amazing. Our server was incredibly sweet as well. Make sure to try the pho and banh mi!

This restaurant offers fantastic food! The older gentleman who works there is incredibly kind and goes above and beyond to ensure we're satisfied. He kept our drinks filled and checked in on us frequently. I tried the curry this time, and it was quite unique—more like a soup with curry seasoning. I would have preferred chicken breast instead of chicken legs, but it wasn't a major issue. It was very tasty! The fried egg rolls were hands down the best I've ever had! I love this place. I went with a friend, and we ended up chatting for hours without realizing it. We felt bad for staying so long, but the waiter was very understanding and even commented on the value of good friendships! The parking lot is conveniently located right in front, and I've never had any problems with it. Overall, it's a wonderful place to eat!

I often see this restaurant while driving by, and today I decided to stop in and try the pho. I was not disappointed! I was in the mood for a vegetable-based soup but also wanted chicken, so for an extra charge, they brought out the chicken on the side. The pho was perfectly seasoned; I've learned to taste my food before adding any hot sauce or extra seasonings, and I'm glad I did because it was delicious just as it was! The vegetable pho exceeded my expectations; I was initially unsure about the broccoli, but it complemented the other veggies and tofu beautifully. The service was excellent—the staff was friendly and helpful. It's a charming little spot, and I will definitely return to explore more of the menu.
