Sushi Kuma - Chuo-ku

Booked this omakase through pocket concierge, price was approx 8500 yen per person which is on the cheap for a 1 star michelin restaurant. The restaurant has around 10 counter seats, bench top nice but a little bit aged, chef was nice but didn't really speak much english. Food was very presented, very tasty and fresh. Service I gave 4/5 as chef didn't try at all to engage with us at all. We ended up going to around 9 michelin star restaurants during our trip this time, and I must say this place is the least memorable for its service. However I would still recommend to others due to the price and the food you get. PS: I don't think he likes his michelin star, he puts the michelin award plush toy in the bathroom? xD

My first Omakase Sushi experience! Cozy atmosphere with a smily face of the chef all time! Extremely fresh seafood and reasonable price! Love it!

The price is casual, but you can enjoy sushi carefully. There is a counter and a private room, so you can work or date.

1 hour Omakase. I would eat here every other day if I lived in Fukuoka.

Especially the shime mackerel was delicious! Also, the middle tro and the hole was the best! And the tea bowl steamed was more delicious than I expected, of course, all was delicious, but !!
