Cafe Desales - Cincinnati

Nice spot for morning coffee. We had breakfast sandwiches. Friendly and attentive staff. Good is excellent. No problem with parking with plenty of spots on the street.

Convenient, delicious, and staff is always pleasant to me. However, very disheartening to hear a cashier (owner? having a difficult time with a student customer. Yes, the student was having a bad day but let's cut our kids some slack. It could make all the difference.

Moderately priced but on a positive note the cafe has free wifi and a great view! The absolute deal breaker for me was the cashiers on Sunday. Loud cussing while I was working with no care in the world about the customers in the building. Their topics of discussion are quite entertaining...what customers they hate and how they can be just as rude as customers. I caught a taste of that for some reason it was a big deal when I asked the cashier if she could hand me the banana I ordered that was just out of reach (it was in her reach but she wanted me to walk around the line of people to get it myself...well done! I am more than capable but I just thought you could help save me the trip? The owners are nice but if that cashier is working I'll make sure to setup outside and bring my own coffee and fruit...problem solved!

My team and I stopped for lunch this afternoon (we travel the city a bit and like to try new spots every time). solid choice! we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly staff. I had the desales croissant and my partner got the bacon turkey bravo and the Asian salat. everything was excellent! I wish I caught a picture, but it was gone before I thought about it. great location. will certainly return when the weather is a bit more beautiful to enjoy lunch outside.

First visit, although I went past several times, I found it a very cute little caffe. and only the place for a fantastic, fully customizable fruit smooth. that was the perfect afternoon pick-up. friendly staff, great smoothie and nothing but good things to say about this first visit.
