Essencha Tea House And Fine Teas

The food was very good, but service was extremely slow and the ambience for afternoon tea was not what we are used to. Their tea selection was great though, so if you are just looking for good tea, you can definitely find it here! The lavender earl gray was delightful.

This is a lovely place, wonderful selection of teas. I have to say, their scones are terribly dry. The mochi is very nice as is the house salad.

The food is simple and 'clean. ' Most stuff you could do at home, but I 've only had the desserts and salads, so my opinion on that may be skewed. The waitress was kind of shy/wouldn 't come near the table. Very sweet gal though. Tipped her well. Just wish she would 've been a little more attentive or taken the time to explain how to use the tea pot. I love the tea menu! So many options! That 's my absolute favorite and is why I would come back a million times over. The setting of the room is comfy and pleasing. I enjoy the look of it. Finally, the music was a bit off. One song can be slow indie and the next can be loud and jazzy. Not necessarily consistent with the atmosphere. But, overall, very nice place. I think I 'll continue to get tea there every few months. I do love the tea.

Such a fun experience even for those who don’t know much about tea like myself. The staff was so friendly. Great experience and can’t wait to go back!
