Great food. Kind of shabby. Currently no dine in option. Check it out for sure.
I already knew the food was going to be delicious, this was hands down the bestttt meal that has everr entered my mouth. if you haven't ate here yet, what are you waiting for!
This is not a place seeking to make white people comfortable. The menu is largely Amharic, the service is meant for people who know what they want, and the place is simply furnished. It is obviously a family and local place. It is absolutely perfect and I would not ask for a single thing to be different. They are all about making some absolutely delicious food and they deliver. I think of it like Bolton's in Nashville, if you're familiar. If you want to feel like you're in a place made for you, go to HB's, if you want some awesome food, go to a non-commercial, local place. Picture is bad. Whoops. Didn't intend on posting it.
The only reasons this restaurant isn't receiving 5 stars right now are: 1. It still doesn't offer dine-in service. 2. The menu can be a bit tricky to navigate and understand. Once dine-in is available, I believe they will easily earn a 5-star rating. I'm really happy that Habesha is in Cincinnati!
