Decent spot. The live music on saturdays is nice. I like the vegan options and my wife enjoys the lunch options. Good coffee and good atmosphere. I really like the journals at each table to scribble your thoughts on. All in all a good college town chill spot. Check it out its worth a stop but be warned their servers are not the best.
Cool place with a nice variety of menu offerings. I also noticed quite an eclectic collection of alcohol at the bar which definitely makes this my kind of coffee shop. I had a soup, sandwich, and tea all were delicious and all served promptly. If I had a few more days to spend in Cincinnati I'd definitely come back especially for drinks at the bar.
Typically I love the gluten free baked goods offered at Lydia's on Ludlow (especially the GF coffee cakes). However, my husband and I went on Friday to pick up a few muffins for me and had a mediocre experience. I ordered 3 muffins to go: Carrot, Maple Oat, and Lemon Poppy Seed. When we walked back to our car I couldn't wait to dig in to my favorite: Lemon Poppy Seed. There was no Lemon Poppy Seed. There was a Strawberry Almond and two Carrot. He walked back to Lydia's and asked them to correct the order. They replaced the Strawberry Almond with the correct muffin (Maple Oat) but insisted that one of carrot muffins was a Lemon Poppy Seed. He got back to the car and as you can see from the pics it was indeed still 2 carrot muffins. To top it all off...they were so dry. Especially the Maple Oat. So frustrated. We have to go out of our way to go to Lydia's. It was almost $12 for 3 muffins. Probably won't be back unless we are already in the area and I'll make sure to stick to the GF coffee cake.
A little pricey but worth it for the food and atmosphere. Great place to work on your laptop or read a book. Occasionally have a live jazz band.
