Neuf Asian Eatery - Cincinnati

This is not NEUF. It's LALO. The worst menu I have ever seen in Cincinnati. They still have NEUF signage everywhere. The bar only has 7 random bottles to choose from. It was a complete joke. I wanted to leave the entire time. Bip in bop: Mexican rice, carrots, peas, corn, kimchee, pickled cabbage, pineapple marinated pork, kale. Served with spicy salsa. It tasted like a failed experiment.

I recently visited Neuf downtown, only to discover that it had relocated and was now called Lalo's on Main St. They informed me that Neuf would be reopening on Court St in the future. I ended up dining at Lalo's, which offers a fusion of Latin and Asian cuisine. While I appreciated the unique concept, I found the food to be mediocre. The tempura fish tacos I ordered tasted more like fried fish and were slightly tough.

We will definitely be coming back to try more dishes at Neuf. We picked this restaurant because of its proximity to the theater. We were pleasantly surprised by the small number of guests, which created a peaceful atmosphere and allowed for quick service. The spring rolls were perfectly hot and crispy, without being too greasy. I ordered the beef stir fry and my wife had the chicken stir fry, both of which were delicious. We ended up taking some leftovers home to enjoy for lunch the next day. Overall, we were very satisfied with our meal.

We were a large group of 9. Service with a smile. Food was amazing. I ordered the very drunken brisket noodle soup. Broth was so tasty and mast was so tender. I will be back. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Food was inconsistent from dish to dish, ranging from eh to yum. Noodle dish seemed to have been sitting a while before delivery to the table. Also, the drug deal transpiring two feet away on the other side of the front window did nothing for the experience.
