The tastes here are not as authentic but the portions were fair and service was a good given lunch rush. Visited at noon on a Monday. The portions were of a decent size and was surprised for the price. Was recommended the pork option from the Bun and was decent. The pickled carrots and daikon were cut very thick isn't super traditional. The eggs rolls were veggie, but dang crispy. Fish sauce was pretty good. I'd go here again if I was craving some well-priced Vietnamese food in the area.
I dropped by the restaurant and found the staff to be extremely friendly, assisting me in making my selection. The food was absolutely delicious—I left feeling completely full, but the freshness of the ingredients made me feel no guilt at all. As for vegetarian options, while the pho broth isn't vegetarian, most other dishes can be made with tofu for those who don't eat meat.
I've consistently enjoyed this restaurant over the years whenever I'm downtown. However, their pickup system can be quite frustrating. I arrived at 12:15 for my order, which was also at 12:15, but I had to wait in line for 15 minutes while my order just sat there before I could pay and leave. I hope they reconsider this approach. EDIT: To avoid the rush, I recommend ordering ahead about 10 minutes before you arrive. I'm restoring the fifth star!
The pho is excellent. The service is very fast. There is limited seating, but I've always found a place to sit. You serve yourself water and bus your table, but I am happy to do that for the speed and quality at a reasonable price.Food: 5/5
This is hands down the best Pho in the city, even better than Pho Lang Tang, in my opinion. The bowls and spring rolls are also excellent!
