I went to this location 5/2/22. The food was delicious however I ordered the mushroom scramble and the dish was supposed to come with house potatoes and a muffin and I only received scrambled eggs with goat cheese. Then I also ordered for my spouse a Surfer girl omelette and added potatoes and I didn’t receive it. I would not be going again for the food. Also if they are about to close don’t go because they will not cool all your food, and the girl with the blonde hair is a horrible waitress and when I told her I was missing food she was ready to charge me for more food. This restaurant is in a nice area however I won’t waste my money on their food. I would recommend only getting a small breckfast because they won’t prepare all of your food.
Another win at Wild Eggs! This dark-brown sista was born and raised on the Gulf Coast of these here United States. So fresh seafood and bayou delicacies are all I know. That being said, I tend to turn a quick side eye to anyplace in the Midwest that advertises anything Cajun/Creole on their menu. But, I decided to order the Shrimp Étouffée with Cheese Grits and pancakes with strawberry compote on the side.Few wins points about the service:1. I was seated within 5 minutes of my reservation on a Sunday afternoon. Win2. My server was amazing. Win.3. My food came out hot and fresh without much wait after placing the orderNow about that Shrimp Étouffée:Like I said, hot and fresh. the étouffée was the perfect consistency, perfect blend of flavors and spice. I had to look around and make sure I didn’t see my Uncle walking up out of that kitchen!Shrimp was plentiful topped on those OMG cheese grits.Only thing I would say if I ordered it again would be “put me some more cheese grits on that plate”, there is very little in the way of grits on the plate.I’m glad a got a side of pancakes or I would have walked away still on the hungry side.I must highlight, this is not a shrimp and grits meal…if that’s what you are looking for. This is shrimp étouffée with a dab of cheese grits in the middle.
IMHO kinda lack luster for how much you pay. Coffee wasn’t anything special (could of been Folgers by the taste, the hotel had better coffee in the lobby for free) OJ was good. Ordered biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon, coffee and a OJ and ended up paying 34$ with tip. The biscuits from McDonald’s are better, gravy wasn’t anything special either. Other chains have better everything at lower prices. Still tipped 20%, not the servers fault the food sucks. Will goto a Dennie’s next time.
Really good service and equally amazing food! Many many choices for lunch and breakfast. Some fun seasonal items too!
