Captain D's - Circleville

The fish was OK. Not like pre pandemic. It was a little greasy. Fries warm, not hot. Restroom was dirty. The service was pleasant. I miss the all you can eat fish.

You can always count on hot fresh food. We come here nearly once a week. The dinning room is always clean and the sea side ambiance is great! I had the 3 piece dinner with the bread stick and the broccoli and the fries. Everything was piping hot, just the way I like it. My husband had the country style fish dinner with broccoli and green beans. He chose the hush puppies and fruit punch! He said his was excellent also!

On 6-14-18 I went to Captain D's. The food has always been good and nice employees until today. I'm disabled so I sat on the bench until it was my turn to order. There was a man there before me and I assumed he was next. As I waited on him, the lady taking orders waited on a couple that was behind me. I got up and said I was next to order. The employee behind the counter said I was rude and said I should have been waiting at the counter. I had to explain why I was handicapped which you should never have to do, it's no one's business. What did she think I was sitting on the bench for? She did this in front of another long time employee who just stood there and grinned. Even after I tried to explain my handicap, she wouldn't back down. She still insisted I was rude. Well, someone was very rude, but it wasn't me. I guess I was supposed to wait on everyone else in line. She should have asked if I had been waited on yet. People can be so stupid! Next time I will ride in on my mobility scooter, if there is a next time. The reason I walked in is because there is no handicap access and even if I managed to get inside with my little 3 wheel scooter, there isn't enough room to get around. Any employee that talks to customers that way should be fired and someone owes me an apology. NOT HANDICAP FRIENDLY AT ALL.

It's a five stars 5/4 on serve food it will be a 5/5 It's not that good for kids but I will just go to a different location

Always a good meal. The best Captain D's around. The restaurant looks like a typical Captain D's but the food is excellent. There are many selection and prices are moderate. This restaurant takes pride in their service and the quality of the food ; waitresses are attentive and personable
