We have visited this restaurant a few times for their pizzas since it is near our office. Although the pizzas were flavorful, we found them to be on the small side and a bit expensive. We were also disappointed to see dried herbs instead of fresh ones at that price point. While I would consider eating the pizza again for convenience, the value for money is not quite up to par.
I tried most of the cafes around my workplace (in Allara Street in Civic) when I first started working there about 5 months ago and I settled on II Covo. I buy a medium latte every weekday morning (and occasionally also some afternoons) and the coffees are consistently really good. I've also indulged in their lemon Italian doughnuts and melting moment biscuits and they were both awesome. An added bonus is that the staff are very friendly, funny and quick!
Went to Il Covo with work colleagues. I ordered the 'Italian Pizza ' and was very impressed. Would definately have it again.
Last time I went for a coffee months ago it was great and so too were prior visits. Have they changed management, never previously seen the barista ladies that served me? They were unfriendly, very slow despite the café being quiet for 2pm, but worst of all the coffee was burnt and awful.
