There were only two people ahead of me when I arrived, yet it took an unusually long time for my order. There were about seven to ten staff members around, but I couldn't figure out what they were doing. The only exception was Kelly, the only friendly staff member, who ensured I received a fresh piece of fish after they initially tried to serve me a burnt one. If you're looking for good fish, I recommend going to The Shingle behind Jean's. Their food, service, and prices are much better—qualities that Jean's sadly lacks. Don't waste your money here.
The fish was thin and dry. I regret choosing the scallops and shrimp; the shrimp was tough and lacked flavor, while the scallops were small and dry. I won’t be returning. C
Fish is fantastic! That's sad for positive things. Mac and cheese are taken from the refrigerator and served cold!!! Apparently when u get out the expect u to go home and cook it! Prices are a bit high, but it's seafood. The service is slow and the young girl behind the counter is very rude. The older woman, I'd say, 40's behind the counter does everything from serving food to packing to letting people out. She is very friendly and could use help. I was dissapointed overall, but will go back because the fish is the best around!
Went on a Friday afternoon. I walked into the business and it was easily over 100 degrees in the place. The tiny AC they had in the place must have been broken. The line was long but I was served in about 20 minutes. The fish was ok. The breading was very bland and there wasn't really any flavor. The sides were bland as well. Tasted like thin mayo' onion and macaroni.
