Punto Rojo Bakery Queens

Tried on the day after initial opening. Empanadas were good, but chicken empanadas were a little dry for my liking. Service was a little slow, but that's expected when it's very busy and the first few opening days. Had good experiences at other locationson LI. Update (11/2022): Service was good. Food was delicious. Very clean and organized restaurant.

Wonderful little restaurant/bakery with so many delicious authentic Columbian treats!! I always get empanadas, chicharones and platanos!! Sweet staff too!! Highly recommend!!

My mother, who is from Colombia was giving option ?pan con queso? Please be aware they only put a little on top and that is it ! The queso (cheese) is not inside I repeat THE CHEESE IS NOT INSIDE OF THE BREAD. Very cheap establishment. In Colombia theyput a lot of cheese inside and it is sad they do not continue those custom here in America If there is no cheese inside statethat Not confuse the public by advertising ?pan con queso? When there is no cheese inside only on top Shaking my head

One of the worst managers runs this joint. The girl behind the cashier is obnoxious and extremely unprofessional. Where is the guy who used to be there? Gave me the wrong order and then gave such a nasty attitude. When she was confronted, she neverapologized and threatened to call the cops. Terrible person to be in charge of a decent restaurant. And to spite me more, theorder she messed up and replaced was burnt. Burnt empanadas. See pictures. Vicious! If the owner of this restaurant reads this,she should be fired right away. UPDATE: No cops were called. And no one came. Again lies by this establishment. I was thrownout and no apologies were offered. A sad way to deal with a customer when they need you to stay in business. Picture of foodprovided is proof of how spiteful they are.
