It's a disappointment for a restaurant that claims to know French pastries, as it was dry, flavorless, and overpriced. I would have complained if I could find a contact there, as I haven't had such a negative experience in years.
Needed somewhere for brunch and thought we'd see of there was a cafe in Debenhams. What we found was rather more up market than needed but we gave it a go anyway. Service was fine and the wait not long. The food was good but the tea was only a small pot and plain latte came instead of the caramel latte as ordered. The bill still included the caramel but was removed when we said it was missing. Probably a good place for a special treat but overpriced for a normal snack.
I recently visited this restaurant for their breakfast deal and decided to try the Garden breakfast. It consisted of two pieces of rye bread topped with fried eggs and halloumi cheese. It also came with a side of baked beans, slices of avocado, and a salad garnish. The portion size was just right, and the food was both filling and delicious. I paired my meal with a pot of Earl Grey tea. The service was friendly and efficient. Despite the busy atmosphere, the cafe had a nice ambience that allowed you to truly relax and enjoy your breakfast.
They got 5 things on our order incorrect the food came out too quickly and wasn’t up to parr the salad was DRY! They have pictures of things they don’t serve on their menu. Very very disappointed. Over priced considering the quality of food
We decided to order from the menu at Debenhams. Unfortunately, they were out of croissants and didn't have prosecco, even though it was listed on the menu.
