A fast food outlet. Mainly a take away with a few tables. We had a glutinous chicken, barley mushroom soup. A Thai coconut chicken noodle soup both were nice. A well organised place popular with office workers wanting fast food. They make a nice cup of tea.
Am a regular visitor to this EAT. establishment, however I will now be using alternative brand of coffee stores. On entrance I was asked by one of the Barista 's why I was wearing a 'red flower ' on my coat, in astonishment I answer 'what a poppy for remembrance day ' he then followed by asking what was a poppy and what was remembrance day. Complete lack of respect for our fallen. Very disappointing
Be refurbed recently and looks nice... staff always nice although they go through staff quick and food is just normal ..... although thai green curry hot pot is really good
Perhaps the best aspect of Eat at Paddington station is its location on a second floor gallery in the barn like structure adjoining the main concourse affording views of the hustle and bustle of the station below. The terrace is shared with Patisserie Valerie and also affords entrance to a pub. There is a good selection of sandwiches and wraps ready for toasting, but I preferred to eat cold a fresh croissant generously filled with slices of ham and emmental cheese. Arrival and departure boards were prominently placed to remind those dining not to linger too long. My train to Exeter was signed as boarding just as I'd finished my croissant and double espresso coffee.
