I arrived at this restaurant this afternoon at 4:40pm hoping to get something to take away for my train journey, but I was immediately met with a rude "We're closed" from a young woman with round glasses. I questioned the closing time, as there were customers seated nearby, but she rudely repeated that they were closed. Even the website indicated that the coffee bar was open at that time. Regardless of the actual closing status, the girl's attitude towards me was unacceptable. It is clear she is not suited for customer service. I will not be returning to this establishment. The lack of professionalism displayed suggests that the food and drinks are likely subpar as well. Avoid this place at all costs.
I think I was the first customer of the day as they were just opening. I ordered a black Americano to go, priced at £2.90. The cup was only a little over half full, which I found disappointing. The service from the lady serving was abrupt. Overall, I felt like it was daylight robbery.
This was truly disgusting. The bacon was dry and crisp and I literally couldn't bite through the sausage. The egg was ok but fried in a rancid tasting oil. I was suspicious because the breakfast arrived about 2 minutes after ordering it.
Very rude, didn't let me buy coffee 20 minutes before closing
