If you did some research then I can confirm the bouncer has very few interpersonal skills, the reservation in advance is a must, the drinks are super expensive, the kitchen closes early, so forget the dumplings, the music is recorded and basically a lounge style (so no speak easy vibe), no info of what room does what, so basically you need to come once to know what to book for the next time. But loved the dry ice drink!
Hidden gem in the middle of China town! Very cool Chinese cocktail bar where you can enjoy dim sum too. Every floor has a different bar. We went to peony on 2nd floor this time and ordered Opium no.9 and Fortunella sour (kumquat liqueur based). Cocktails were a bit too sweet but the presentation was good. Recommend to book in advance as there would be a long queue especially after 11pm.
Tasty cocktails and delicious dumplings. We ordered the meat dumplings platter, Opium No 8, Hibiscus, Sesame Old Fashioned and loved all of them. The staff also do a Great job. Overall Great experience.
It’s so far my favourite cocktail bar in London. I think the atmosphere, the bar it’s kinda hidden, so you will not see a big entrance. Once you are inside it looks kinda a secret place. The cocktails are amazing
Wish we have had dinner here! We went for an after dinner cocktail stumbled upon this gem it’s hidden up 4 flights of stairs and then surprises you with exquisite cocktails
