The Shakespeare attempts to set itself apart by offering traditional pub food, which is a unique offering in the area. I tried the full English breakfast and found it to be average. I enjoyed the eggs, bacon, and tomatoes, but the sausages were dull and lacked flavor. The hash browns were forgettable, and the orange juice seemed to be from a supermarket rather than freshly squeezed. My suggestion would be to improve the quality of the sausages and offer freshly squeezed orange juice.
This pub in the London area offers great food and service at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy, making it a perfect spot to grab a bite to eat while visiting the area. I would highly recommend it.
Doorman was the best thing about this pub. Sense of humour and polite. Bar itself was sticky and in need of a clean. Barmaids served me OK. Struggled with my accent but I got the drinks I needed in the end. The random table I sat at to the left of the door was sticky as well. Drinks were over priced for what I got but it's London and what I expected.
I recently visited Shakespeare and I must say that the service was excellent. Shatakshi was my bartender and I was thoroughly impressed by the amazing drinks she made. She was friendly and provided top-notch service. I would rate my experience a 10 out of 10.
Vidhi was an amazing server. Extremely kind, super helpful, and a pleasant to speak with! This pub was also 10/10 for food and drinks!
