I went here with a friend for a peaceful afternoon tea, but the staff greeted us with a secret code and seemed suspicious when I asked to see the menu. The restaurant was empty until suddenly 24 rough-looking men showed up and closed the blinds. After four hours, only six of them left and appeared to have blood on their collars. Don't be fooled by the appearance of this place - it may seem like a quaint tea spot, but it's definitely not what it appears to be. Stay away.
The pizza is delicious. I can't understand why the restaurant is empty. It's surprising how they can survive without any customers!
I made a reservation at this Italian restaurant two weeks in advance to avoid the Christmas rush. I requested a table for 6:30pm, but upon arrival at 6:00pm (which was beautifully decorated), we were met by a waiter who seemed confused. After some confusion, we were finally seated. However, upon looking around, it was clear that this was not an Italian restaurant, but a Sri Lankan teahouse with only two Italian dishes on the menu - lasagne and salmon primavera. This was not what we expected based on the online menu, and we left feeling hungry and disappointed. I would not recommend this place if you're looking for a true Italian dining experience.
Restaurant with breakfast I was there before. and they gave us makrele, yet explained it was seabass. ordered a mushroom and gorgonzola starter, which has never arrived. the clue was when the manager pulled 20% off the bill without asking. rubbish. don't go.
Wow. What a surprise. Hiden away under the shadow of the GPO tower. Large choice of the best teas from Sri Lanka and great Italian food!!!
