Thai Cottage

I had to change my man's mind about Thai food. he had Thai eating at chic places, and it is always sucked. the Veg plate had not more than fresh leaves. but this place was authentic, amazingly brilliant. we ordered pad thai jay, green curry with jasmine reis. the crowds were good! service is fast. the personal is great, it is in the regular only three people cooking, serving, billing. they are warm and beautiful. I will definitely recommend.

What happened?. This place used to be good a bastion of cheap, quality food in central London. Over the years, I have eaten here dozens of time. Last night, however was a disaster. The meat in the mixed selection starter was supposed to be chicken but was some kind of reconstituted meat. The table was sticky and had not been wiped over. The beer was warm. The main course (baby chicken) has been heated up or triple cooked even. The meat was sinewy and old and I could not eat it and the sauce was horrible. The only good thing was the sticky rice. Thai-nominal. Seriously authentic family style amazing Thai food!!!! I've lived in Thailand and this ranks up there! Very reasonably priced to boot!!!

Frickin' awesome, I love this place It's shoddy interior belies the amazing food, as good as anything I'd eaten in Thailand itself. The beef mussaman is dreamy.
