I asked this extra fee and was told to the owner that the staff works so hard, but not much of their tips. so from the quality of the owners heart (gawd bless em) decided to add this service fee to any bill. I checked that the employees got a reward, and they said they were paid from the hour and they got all the tips. I was also told that the staff working too late, in addition to this, the service fee motivated them to work harder, and therefore earn them to be tilted. just say, but nurses work super hard, they even do night shifts, they save lives and they don't ask for tips. if the owner really felt that the personal was underpaid, then they should certainly increase the staff lonely, but instead it is to the customers to fill this gap. to say that it is motivated by the employees to work hard is insane if it is not clear that the service fee is voluntary and it absolutely does not say that either on the bill. it's not that I don't like to type, but if I don't choose the one that is when it comes to further development. If you want to have brilliant cocktails, try the dark horse in bath, then you will know why I rated the beachcomber a 2!
Of 5 we would rate this restaurant with 3. overall, the place is really nice great atmosphere that lasted for a long time. Unfortunately, the price left our total experience of £95, in which the food and service was not worth. £60 wouldn't recommend anyone because it's well overpriced for what it is.
Last night after dinner a night capsule visited. the interieur is very cozy and pleasant. the staff was extremely polite and professional. cocktails well and well presented. will definitely be back.
Absolutely loved this funny cozy Tiki bar. make sure they have the food too. Delicious sharing of eating with a Korean spin, and the cook is super friendly, he comes out and ensures that everyone is okay. everything is so good with the great selection of...cocktails great moods, friendly and happy!
Wow, what a gem of a place this is. We'd come down to London as a treat for my birthday staying at the Hilton just around the corner. My partner had recollections of this bar in a previous carnation when it was more latin themed....She suggested that we pop in for a quick cocktail and we ended up spending the whole evening there. Apart from having an impressive array of cocktails, they have an incredible range of rums on offer including a few that we hadn't heard of before. The place has a really cool south pacific tiki vibe to it and seems to attract a really eclectic crowd. That mixed with great music and chicken wings you really can't want for more. If your into Wetherpersons, then this isn't going to be your bag. However if your after something cool, quirky with a twist of retro London with fantastic hospitality you'll love it. My partners already planning her next trip here for a girls night out. Thanks Beachcomber 5
