4.6 Stars: A good slice for $2.95. There's plenty of cheese and sauce, and the portion size is decent. The crust is both chewy and crisp, although it could use a bit more flavor. The Italian sauce is well-seasoned, with oregano being the standout spice, and the cheese is perfectly cooked to enhance its taste. However, the slice is a bit on the dry side, so you'll definitely want a drink to go with it.
The pizza here is absolutely fantastic. Each slice is generously sized, and the crust is perfectly crisp without being floppy. The balance between the cheese and sauce is spot on. This is the quintessential New York pizza.
It’s just as good as I remember. One thing I really miss about upstate NY is great pizza, and this place was my favorite in the Bronx. After visiting again after two years, I can confirm it’s still the best.
