Brunswick Cafe - City of New York

This charming little café offers a lovely atmosphere, with fast service and delicious food. I believe the prices are quite reasonable, contrary to some of the reviews I've read. On my first visit, I ordered the Sweet Potato Pancake served with poached eggs. One of the eggs was cooked perfectly, while the other was a bit overdone, nearly hard-boiled. However, I was able to overlook that because everything else was so enjoyable. I returned for a second visit and tried the Avocado Toast, which was equally delightful. I did notice that one of the waitstaff seemed a bit moody on both occasions—perhaps that’s just her personality? Overall, this café is a wonderful spot in the neighborhood to relax, sip coffee, and enjoy a pleasant breakfast.

This is a charming and wonderful place. The food was simple yet delicious. My latte was just right, and the staff were very attentive. I visited in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday, so it wasn't too crowded, and I was able to enjoy a corner table. I would definitely return.

Was delicious food, but the bread they chose was extremely hard on the edges. Then the waffles tasted amazing! I have never had a waffle taste like that before! Service was good and the atmosphere was relaxed. Would definitely come back.

Excellent service and delicious food! I ordered the cheddar biscuits, while my husband enjoyed the salmon toast, and we were both very happy with the quality and portion sizes. We'll definitely return!
