The beds are extremely comfortable, and the rooms stay cool and entirely dark at night—unlike many other hotels in NYC that are located in pre-war buildings, where the rooms can get quite warm. The staff, from the friendly and efficient reception to the attentive servers at Electric Lemon and the exceptionally polite valet and bell staff, always ensure our stay is a pleasure. Room service offers a variety of healthy and satisfying options, all presented in lovely metal bento boxes.
Equinox Hudson Yards offered a hotel gym experience like no other. The group classes were outstanding, and it felt great to stay motivated to work out while traveling. The atmosphere was vibrant, and I loved feeling connected to the local community. I couldn’t help but indulge in the innovative spa treatments I had heard so much about. I tried cryotherapy, the wave table, and Icoone, and I enjoyed every single one of them. The hotel’s central location made getting around the city incredibly easy, even though I really didn’t want to leave the property at all. This is by far the best hotel in NYC! I’m already counting down the days until I can return!
Equinox Hotel is a genuine sanctuary for busy business travelers and has become the only place my colleagues and I choose to stay while in New York. The entire staff — from guest services and reception to the concierge and bell desk — is friendly and welcoming, always ready to go the extra mile to ensure our stays are comfortable and top-notch. The bathroom wellness amenities, access to the cutting-edge gym, and various lighting options allow us to return from our business trips feeling better than when we arrived. The views are also stunning! I wholeheartedly recommend a stay at this hotel.
The Hotel facility was beautiful. And the valets were very helpful during our check-in and stay. The pool was disappointing. They sell “club” memberships to the pool and clearly a lot of them, so don’t be fooled by photos of the peaceful pool on their website. It was more like Hugh Hefners pool at the Playboy Mansion. Overly crowded, bodies on every inch of the cement around the pool and no chairs to be had for all three days of our stay. Additionally, the restaurant , Electric Lemon, is featured on their website but is independent of the hotel and they feel no obligation to accommodate the hotel guests, which was made very clear by the nasty hostess. We purchased drinks and then were never able to get a seat. Every table in the lounge and outdoor patio was marked reserved, you need a reservation even for drinks. We watched this ridiculous parade of girls staging photos for Instagram all being accommodated while those of us paying $1000.00+ a night were out of luck. Also, there was a very extensive mini bar in our room, but it left no refrigerator space for our dessert we brought back from the restaurant for later. No flat sheet on the bed, just a duvet but for us it was too warm.
I had been dying to stay at the hotel and had high expectations but it was beyond all I expected! By far the best hotel in nyc. Spa is amazing , rooms are big and comfortable, great detox treatment . All around great experience. Obviously the gym is espectacular.
