However, the food tasted old. a $60 platter was definitely not worth it. The music was nice, but overall, it's expensive and not worth it in my opinion.
So for my birthday we made a reservation for 6:30pm and they decided to close the place for construction and not have the decency to call us to let us know they were closed. We found out when we arrived at the place. This is was Saturday August 20th. And they were still posting on Instagram that they were having a show happening that day. Extremely disappointed.
Food was great but the service was not the best. Nowhere in the menu it says they add the tip 18% tip even if you are only 3 people. I was going to leave tip regardless but you cant tell me you are not allowed to take it off. I also work in restaurant and you can add it and take it off. The one that did all the work definitely deserves the tip but there was a guy that just showed his face twice and took our order. It was a weird experience overall
Brunch for $40 bottomless drinks until 6pm. They didn't ask how we wanted the steak cooked so only 3
Nice place, pizza was good and the music was great. We were there to see Carlos Sanchez and had to reserve a table in order to do so. We weren't told over the phone that we had to buy a bottle at the restaurant because supposedly cocktails were not being served that night. Upon arriving at the restaurant is when we were told we had to buy a bottle. We weren't planning on buying a bottle in the first place so we opted for the cheapest one they had which was a $90 bottle of Prosecco which I've seen on the street for about $10. Total rip off. Just before Carlos Sanchez performed, we started seeing people getting cocktails despite being told previously that cocktails were not going to be served that night. Either your staff is uninformed or you have some organization issue with the way you run your events. Don't surprise your customers with rip-off tactics in typical Dominican fashion. Definitely not coming back here.
