Felfela Cafe - City of New York

I've been going to this restaurant for about 40 years, and I've always enjoyed it. The food is great, the prices are reasonable, and the service is good. However, if you're in a hurry, you should let them know; everything is made fresh, which takes time. I really enjoy their sauces, and they offer excellent fish, pasta, rice, falafel, and a variety of dishes and sandwiches to choose from. Parking can be challenging, so we usually try to go early.

They have a nice menu with a nice variety of options. The food is good and inexpensive. The restaurant moved from it's old location a few blocks away and the new place is more open although I enjoyed the old place and fond memories. Their super thin crust pizza is really delicious!!

Their nachos are a particular favorite of mine; they're like mini pizzas topped with a jalapeño. They also make a great Alfredo sauce. Back in the 80s, Circles offered a somewhat healthier twist on diner fare with a fusion of Mediterranean, Italian, Asian, and Mexican cuisines. While it may not be considered particularly exciting by today’s standards, the food is still good and the atmosphere is cozy. The service is polite and attentive, though it can occasionally feel inexperienced. For instance, they might forget to pour your water or bring the bread, but they’re quick to respond if you remind them. Overall, it’s a solid dining experience that retains its charm.

I live nearby and I absolutely love the healthy food they serve here. When my kids were younger, I used to bring them for their famous dish #13, which remains our favorite to this day. I always receive excellent service when I visit during the weekdays. Not all the staff are young; there are also experienced adult waiters. Circles is simply the best, and I don’t understand some of the negative comments below. I am neither an employee nor do I have any family working here, so I’m being completely honest in my review.

Great food and service. Accoustics make it too noisy. But food wonderful. Try the czarina shrimp or chicken scampi! Cake too pricy. It's cost is about 50% of a main course. So we skip dessert. Used to get their carrot cake.
