I’m puzzled as to how they managed to get an A rating, especially with two dead bees sitting in the window for three years. The food is so unappetizing that even the flies seem to be drawn there to end it all. Overall, I would rate the food a 1 out of 5.
I really enjoyed finding this local neighborhood restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious, and the young lady at the counter is friendly and accommodating. Everything is fresh and tastes fantastic. However, seating can be a bit of a challenge since it can get quite crowded, and the place could use some renovations to create a warmer and more inviting atmosphere. Overall, I had a great experience and plan to keep coming back. I highly recommend their Chicken and Broccoli as well as their Chicken Lo Mein. The prices are comparable to other restaurants in the area.
I ordered the boneless spare ribs, but they were overcooked and lacked sauce.
We tried ordering from this restaurant again under the new ownership, but it wasn't a good experience. I ordered the half-fried chicken, and it was overcooked to the point that it was inedible. It also had an odd taste and was so small that I questioned whether it was actually chicken. This was our last order from them, and we'll be returning to Quality Chef instead.
The vegetable egg foo young was lacking some key ingredients—it didn't have broccoli, bamboo shoots, or water chestnuts. Additionally, there were no diagonally sliced carrots or celery. The only vegetables present were peas and small diced carrots, similar to those found in frozen food sections at grocery stores.
