Mangiamo Pizza - City of New York

The best way to describe this place is "seedy." I was having dinner with my husband and children, including an infant, and everything was fine until we mentioned to our server that we were feeling very cold, especially the kids. I watched as the server approached the manager to relay our concern. Then, we all heard the manager's response—he yelled loud enough for everyone to hear that he didn’t care, saying that customers weren’t his problem and that no one was allowed to turn on the heat. The server then walked away, and another man started yelling in a different language. This went on for several minutes. Was this meant to embarrass us or intimidate us? My husband thought about speaking directly with the manager, but we ultimately decided against it for fear of escalating the situation further. Suffice it to say, we won’t be returning.

I enjoyed some delicious food at this charming little restaurant. The atmosphere is delightful, and the staff are very polite and attentive!

I was thoroughly impressed with Mangiamo Pizza; it was truly outstanding. The prices are quite reasonable, especially considering its location. Everything we ordered was fantastic, and the menu is absolutely incredible. The place is very clean, and the staff were extremely polite. Mangiamo Pizza, you guys are amazing!

Rogelio's delivers some of the best prices in Bushwick.The personal pie for $5 was my go to.$1 drinks is a huge plus.The staff at Rogelio's were always very nice looked after me
