Tchoup Shop - City of New York

This is such a charming restaurant, and the service was excellent. We had a fantastic time with the Korean BBQ! The portions were generous, and it was incredibly tasty.

After I finished signing, the waitress snatched the scanner away and exclaimed, “Wow, no tip,” rolled her eyes, and walked off, slamming the scanner down on the counter. I’m baffled by the expectation that an 18% tip is mandatory in every situation. I truly hope the bartender learns to treat customers with more respect in the future. Just a reminder—this was a pick-up order; I wasn’t seated or served at all!

This restaurant doesn't seem to be very welcoming to people of color. The food was average, but the service left much to be desired. You have to order at the bar, which means getting up to place your order yourself. Even after taking on all that responsibility, one of the servers who didn't assist me had the nerve to complain about the five-dollar tip I left, despite the fact that I essentially served myself. I still paid for the food, after all!

Food was absolutely superb. Authentic taste and very fast service. Will definitely go back again.

There is big big bartender who also speaks Spanish very rude and RACIST . He was making jokes about black people in front us about their stupid ghetto culture in front of us . discussing. He also wasn 't using mask or even covering his mouth whenever he was sneezing .
