Golden Gurnsey Ice Cream

Golden Guernsey is my favorite ice cream shop in Oneonta. Since I generally prefer soft ice cream and that is what they do best they are my number one choice. They also have really good food and have daily specials throughout the week. Check out their Facebook to see their specials.

Fantastic ice cream. So many delicious flavors, you really can’t pick just one! Churro was my favorite.

Soft Ice Cream is truly the best in the area. On my trip from Margaretville to Oneonta, I tried three different soft serve cones. The one from Grand Gorge went straight into the trash after just two bites; it wasn't cold and didn't even taste like ice cream. Stamford's offering was just as disappointing. I'm determined to find something better! However, The Golden Guernsey is fantastic! It’s real ice cream, not just filled with chemicals!
