Danie's restaurant food cost more than other Haitian restaurant food in Irvington. So I went there on July 28. After I finish my meal, they gave me a bill and they had the nerve to include $5 tips in it without my consent. There was a guy who worked there took $5 tips from my $50 and he had the nerve to tell me that's how restaurant charge customers nowadays. Don't go there
Place is nice clean ?.Food aren't too tasty. ?.Fried chicken are pink in the inside .Fried pork is half cook
I ordered the Pumpkin Soup and the Haitian Stew with Goat - Bouyen Cabrit, and they were absolutely fantastic! They exceeded my expectations. The meat was incredibly tender, with just the right balance of salt and spice. The presentation was impressive too; the stew was served in a sturdy, attractive bowl with a generous portion. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again soon! Since it’s the middle of the week, I didn't have to wait until the weekend like I do with many other Haitian restaurants. The pasta in the pumpkin soup was cooked to perfection—just the right amount of firmness; I can’t stand mushy pasta. My wife agreed; she thought it was delicious as well! I can’t wait to try more items from the menu.
The food was absolutely delicious and served hot! I will definitely be ordering from here again. Chef's kiss! Haha!
