Everything was just perfect there were soft chairs, lanterns, pillows on the floor, along with a teapot displayed (all while Casablanca plays in the background). It was just us and one other couple for the almost 2 hours that we were here. I ordered the couscous au legumes. SO GOOD. It was couscous with zucchini, potatoes, carrots, and a brussel sprout on top. Exactly like the meals I had in Agadir, Morocco. The tagines looked so good, but it was a Friday during Lent so unfortunately I didn't try the meat. While we were eating, two separate groups of people walked in to look at the menu and then left. I understand that Moroccan food isn't for everyone but PLEASE give this place a shot. I can't explain how great this place is. For dessert we ordered the mint moroccan tea (sweetened) this was also just like morocco. This is a must. My sister ordered the ice cream with honey and nuts on the top. Absolutely to die for. Some may say there's slow service, but to me it was the perfect amount of time between the appetizers, meal, and dessert. Please give this place a shot, you will not be disappointed. (Also everyone who works here is so delightful and super friendly)
Wonderful restaurant experience. The owner brought most of the decor from Morocco and has made the sure the food stays true to his hometown of Casablanca. The interior gives you the feeling of eating at someone’s home.
High end quality at mid tier prices! Perfect for date night! Wife and I stopped in on Saturday night and I can't say enough good things about it. The ambience of the place hits you the minute you walk in and transports you to another place from the music to the furniture to the decor and fixtures, everything is elegantly appointed. The service is absolutely perfect, our server Alex was friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive, as were other members of the staff. We ordered two of the specialty cocktails (casablanca cosmo and Ingrid Bergman) and they were absolutely yummy! Not too strong to ruin the taste in your mouth, but definitely strong enough to settle you in for a nice meal. Perfect. To start, we ordered the briouats, a pastry filled with chicken and almond vaguely reminiscent of an Indian samosa, but with totally different flavors. They are actually served with a drizzle of honey while I am usually not that into sweet flavors with my savory foods, it totally worked here and they were absolutely scrumptious. For our entrée we had the chicken brochette (essentially spiced chicken skewers) and the couscous royal (couscous with a sampling of different meats). Everything was DELICIOUS, but if I had to name one thing that stood out the most it'd be the couscous. Most couscous is quite grainy in texture, but this chef has some magic secret that churns out the softest, fluffiest, most comforting couscous either of us have ever had. It is a MUST HAVE when you visit. The dessert options were a little bit less impressive, mostly just standard American desserts like cheesecake etc, but the one thing that is awesome is the Moroccan mint tea. It's the perfect way to cap off the meal lightly sweetened with an incredibly rich minty aroma, it helps cleanse the palate and settle the stomach. Each sip went me deep into my own fantasies of sitting in a back alley Cafe somewhere in the streets of Marrakesh, sipping mommy tea all day as I watch the merchants haggle. The tea is definitely another must have. At the end of it all, our bill came out to be about what you're expect from a date night out at a mid tier restaurant like Red Lobster, but the quality of food, service, and ambience is definitely high end!
Amazing food, amazing service. Definitely recommend if you are looking for delicious Moroccan food!
The atmosphere at Casablanca is relaxing and unhurried. Background music was fitting to the theme and The service was warm and friendly and the owners made us feel welcomed and very much at home. We all loved our dinner choices. The tagines were served with flare and everything was excellent. We will definitely return to try new menu choices
