Applebee's Grill - City of Superior

Over cooked steak and under cooked burgers, and no silverware at sit down. Onions and mushrooms for steak were also charged extra as $2 each and they should have been included for the price I paid. Disappointing and I know you can do better.

Fire alarm went off and they gave us food for free while the delt with the fire department.

Arrived around 5:45, not too busy, and sat immediately. Drink and food orders were taken at the same time. Drinks came out almost immediately, but food was about an hour wait. At least three tables were seated after us and received food well before us. One such table had paid their bill and were in the process of leaving when our food arrived. One of our party had to leave before her food and did manage to get it packaged to-go. The other two entrées were still a few minutes longer. We were now in a rush to eat as we had a function to attend. I had ordered the chicken quesadilla salad, yet it came without the cheese quesadilla the menu states. We did not encounter a manager, but the server stated that the manager had removed the to-go entree, but that was it as far as manager interaction. Very disappointing visit, overall.

I believe this is one of the better Applebee's around! I've been here many times and have really never had any real trouble. Sometimes, the service is a little off and serving staff isn't always attentive. However, it's a chain restaurant and it goes with the territory. I've never had bad food here. One time, my fries were cold but that's it. There specials and half price apps at 9pm, are a great deal. If you're in the mood for Applebee's, travel to this location.
