I recommend the heart of palm salad, the traditional dish with either fish or chicken, seafood fried rice (including octopus, shrimps, crabs, shells and more, market pan fried food and potatoes and essentially everything else! It's all delicious. The price compares with everywhere in Drake Bay, but we found the portions large for dishes such as fried rice or market fish and would have split a plate and easy appy. We also learned about the chef who left his job in a resort to start his own rest! His passion for cooking shines through food. Thank you. Very recommended and will return for more :
I love the food here! There were many Peruvian decisions. The menu was in English and Spanish so much helped. The staff was very polite. We had Ceviche and chicken Cordon Bleu with an amazing mushroom sauce. This place is great!
We loved this place and went 4 times in 3 days! Many times, the best way to evaluate a restaurant is to look at how they are supposed to prepare simple things. And they served the best Gallo Pinto we had in 3 weeks a day. The meat was excellently prepared to speak with the cook, we noticed a lot of love for what he does and you can taste it. Recommended! Juan Carlos is an amazing cook. Simple dishes, but prepared with excellence. Simply the best place we have eaten in Costa Rica style. Don't be fooled by the modest decoration when you're in the Drake Bay! Prices are also very decent compared to other places in Drake Bay.
Amazing!!!! Do not miss this amazing place in Drake. Friendly service, server could not be more helpful. Had the Lomo Chateaubriand highly recommend.
